As part of registering for an event, or securing a ticket, you may provide information to our event partners and/or credit card processing companies. Please read and agree to their policing before volunteering any personal information. We do not save questions or chat texts. The chat application is operated by a third party software supplier. Please review and approve their privacy policy before using the website chat application.

 

2. Technical and Device Information: Whenever you access our Services, we may collect certain technical and device information automatically. These include, among others, the type, settings and version of the device or web browser you use, IP address, the address of and activity on web pages you visit. The date and time of your request, how you use our webpages, cookie data, and websites you navigate to from our website.

We use the information we collect to provide periodic announcement on upcoming events and news about GYN cancers. We do not store your personal information in an on-line database. We use a private database to store email and surface mailing addresses. We retain this information as long as you remain actively involved with Hope for Heather.org. We remove your information from our database upon request or when it is no longer valid. We may use USPS data to validated mailing addresses. We may use third party services to validate email addresses.

 

5. Information on minors:
We encourage parents and guardians to supply only a minors name, age and school to register for an event. All other required information: email, mobile, and address should be a parent’s information. We do not share information on minors or market directly to minor participants under 18 years old. Please review and approve third party registration providers privacy policies before registering for an event or purchasing a ticket for a minor child.

 

6. Choices and Right of Control:
You have certain choices, controls and rights over your personal data, including the ability to:

  • Edit, modify or delete the personal information provided to us;

  • Request a copy of your personal data;

  • Opt-out of receiving marketing communications, newsletters and teal gear promotions from Hope for Heather or third-parties by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any electronic communication

  • Opt-out of surface mailings by sending a request to the post office box listed below.

Thank you for using Hope for Heather’s (H4H’s) website or becoming a Hope for Heather (H4H) supporter!
By accessing and using H4H’s website, resources, content, services, products, images and tools (collectively called assets), you agree to accept and be bound by these legally binding Terms of Use (Terms or ToU). Please read these Terms of Use (ToU) carefully and approve these or exit from the Hope for Heather website and clear your browser’s history and cookies. You also must agree to comply with the H4H Privacy Policy. We may amend these Terms at any time by posting the most current version on this website. Hope for Heather website may contain links to third-party websites, users, services or other content that are not operated or controlled by Hope for Heather. We do not endorse and are not responsible for any such third-party sites, links or other material. Hope for Heather partners with Paypal inc and other third party companies for payment processing services. When you access or use our partners’ services, you agree to their privacy policies and terms of use. By registering, purchasing tickets or donating funds, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, and you authorize us to share such information only as necessary to enable the payment processing services provided.

Content and materials available on and created by Hope for Heather, including but not limited to the Services, text, graphics, website name, code, images and logos are the intellectual property of Hope for Heather, Inc., and are legally protected by applicable intellectual property and other rights and laws. Subject to these terms of use and our other policies, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal use only. You agree not to modify, translate or otherwise create derivative works from this material. If you want to use, store, modify, distribute, display or reproduce any of H4’s intellectual property, you must obtain advanced written permission from Hope for Heather at the address listed below.

Governing Law:
If you have a dispute with Hope for Heather, we encourage to first contact us and try to resolve the dispute. In the event that we are unable to resolve the dispute with you, and you seek legal action, these Terms and any other policies or guidelines incorporated by reference, will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York and the United States, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law, and without application of the United Nations Convention of Controls for International Sale of Goods.

You agree that Hope for Heather is a passive website that does not give rise to jurisdiction over Hope for Heather or its board, officers, employees, agents, directors, officers, either specific or general, in any jurisdiction other than the State of New York. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms, shall be brought in the federal or state located in Onondaga County in the State of New York, and you hereby agree and submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts, and waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts. You hereby irrevocably waive any right you may have to trial by jury in any dispute, action, or proceeding.
