• 2011 Sept 25th 3rd Annual TEAL Ribbon 5K Run/WalkThis year the event will be at the Inner Harbor in Syracuse, NY. This facility provides more room for this rapidly growing event. • 2011 August 25 - Sept 5th New York State Fair Hope for Heather will be there for the full 14 day expo. This year we plan to pass out 20,000 Teal ribbons and informative symptom cards to interested fair attendees.
• 2011 April 3rd Breakfast at Tiffany's fashion show and brunch. Enjoy high fashion shown by local models with excellent food and drinks. Held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Syracuse.
• 2011 Jan 29th 2nd Annual Party for a CureThe year at Sharky's Eclectic Sports Lounge in Liverpool, enjoy, great music from 7 top bands, great food, raffles, drinks and health information.

  Heather's TEAL Ribbon Ovarian Cancer Walk & Run Details
• 2010 Sept 3 National Wear TEAL day - 10,000 Ribbons to Raise Ovarian Cancer Awareness
  Hope for Heather volunteers will distribute 10,000 TEAL ribbons and infomation cards as the NY State FairTo get your Free TEAL ribbon visit the Hope for Heather booth at the Art & Home building on the NY State Fairgrounds. 10,000 TEAL ribbons for this event were produced by local church and private support groups
• 2010 August 26 thru Sept 6 Ovarian Cancer Awareness @ NY State FairSee the Hope for Heather booth at the Art & Home building on the NY State Fairgrounds. Volunteers will be answering questions and spreading OC awareness to women of all ages.
• 2010 August 15th - Syracuse Women in Music (SWIM) are "Rockin' for the Cure" at Cross Lake Marina in Cato, NY. Sunday August 15 from 1 to 7PM five female bands will be turning up the volume on Ovarian Cancer. There will be music, dancing, food and fun for the whole family including a bounce house for the kids. Free boat and car parking make this an easy, fun event to attend. 100% of your $12 admission (kids 12 and under free) goes to fight back against Ovarian Cancer. • 2010 April 10 - teams of local volunteers in Syracuse and surrounding neighborhoods created and gathered over 500 cards to be distributed to individuals battling cancer. They delivered the uplifting cards to the Upstate and Golisano Children's Hospitals. The local team was one of many around the world who took part in an effort to deliver over 100,000 cards to cancer centers across the globe. read more
  
• 2010 April 8 - Macy's presents the 2009 "Give back/Partners in Time" Volunteer of the Year award, to Frieda Weeks Macy's AC; presented in honor of Carol Reiser, who founded Partners in Time in 1989. The 2009 award is presented by Lauren Begay, Macy's Store Manager and Mark J. O'Connor, District Vice President.
  
• 2010 March 28 - The 7th annual Colon Cancer Remembrance Walk in Central park! Our team "Hope for Heather" walked last year and is signed up and ready to walk again! A 1.7 mile remembrance walk honoring all of those who have fought Colon Cancer. Join us or virtually walk with us by donating to the cause.
  
• 2010 January 30 - "Party for a Cure" at the Castaway's Riverside Restaurant in Brewerton. Food fun and entertainment by top area bands and artists. Karaoke, raffles, the ultimate 50/50 drawing. Wellness information booths.
• 2009 November 22 - "1st Anniversary of Heather's Memorial Celebration. Listen to the complete service and read the memorial messages.
• 2009 November 15 - "Heather's Girls Day Out" shopping, massage, silent auction, hosted by Tawn Marie's Dance Studio, Liverpool, NY.

• 2009 Sept 27 - Heather's TEAL Ribbon Walk, Willow Bay Section of Onondaga Lake Park, Liverpool, NY; 8AM to 9AM registration, 9AM to 10:15AM walk, 10:30 group photos 9:30AM to 11:30AM entertainment by Paul Davies.
