to 30,000 09/03/2010 - September 3rd is National Wear TEAL day for Ovarian Cancer Awareness. Hope for Heather.org is passing out 10,000 TEAL ribbons for Ovarian Cancer Awareness at the New York State Fairgrounds.Organizers believe this effort will spread awareness to over 30,000 women. Knowledge of early symptoms can save a loved one: a mother, grandmother, sister, a daughter from the 5th leading cause of cancer death in women. | Ovarian Cancer Awareness @ NY State Fair 08/26/2010 - Hope for Heather is sponsoring an Ovarian Cancer Awareness booth at the New York State Fair. The booth is located in the Art and Home building [Empire Room, Newtimes Theatre, Wegams Demo Kitchen]. H4H volunteers will provide lifesaving information to women on risk factors and early symptoms of Ovarian Cancer. The information is free, a mother's life is priceless. The booth is open from 10AM to 10PM August 26 thru September 6, 2010. If you are at the NYS Fair, stop by the booth and say hello.
