Ovarian Cancer Awareness at NY State Fair 2009 - photos
Hope for Heather manned an Ovarian Cancer Awareness booth at the 2009 New York State Fair. Attendance for this 14 day event was just under 1 million people. The H4H booth was located just inside the main door of the Art and Home Center (Womens Building). Thousands of women and men stopped at the booth each day to get information on the symptoms and risk factors for Ovarian Cancer. Some shared their personal story of how Ovarian Cancer has touched their lives. This awareness booth featured a large assortment of literature provided by Ovarian Cancer National Alliance and Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
